*Due to instructor schedule challenges we, unfortunately, have canceled the Late Fall Saturday lessons.  In general, each lesson consists of 25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of practice. Skills are presented in a positive and easy-to-understand manner. The + sign after the level indicates the student is very close to passing to the next ISI skate level. Instructors are constantly evaluating skating skills and placing students in their correct class level. Participants are rewarded with a certificate upon completion of the session.  Class Prerequisites for All Delta/Delta+ & Freestyle Levels 10-10: Students are between the ages of 6 -16 years old on or before the first day of class and have tested and passed the previous level class.  ISI Youth Delta/Delta+ Prerequisites:  Students have completed a Gamma Level Skating class.  Class Curriculum: In this class, students will learn the following elements: Right Forward Outside 3-Turn (One Foot Turn) / Left Forward Outside 3-Turn (One Foot Turn) / Forward Outside & Inside Edges / Skater’s Choice of Shoot-the-Duck or Lunge / Bunny Hop ISI Youth Freestyle 1-10E/P Prerequisites 6 – 16 Years old Freestyle 1-10 Elements (FS E) classes focus on teaching specific skating skills including edges, jumps, and spins that we call “Elements.” Students are tested on these elements to determine if they are ready to progress to the next level. If not, the test results provide feedback on what elements the student needs to continue to work on. Freestyle 1-10 Program (FS P) is the linking of each level’s required elements with music to create a “Program.” The skater then skates their program on a testing session to complete the level’s requirements. The ISI Freestyle Levels are very exciting! Here at TIA, once the skater passes ISI Freestyle Level 1 Program, they qualify to do a solo in any one of our ice exhibitions and shows! This is quite an accomplishment, not only for the skater but for the skater’s family, as well!To learn more about specific freestyle elements required to test and pass each class level, please click here: ISI Freestyle 1-10 Test Requirements REGISTER NO LATER THAN 4 DAYS BEFORE THE END REGISTRATION DATE AND SAVE $15.00!
