News: Know Before You Go: Track and Court Schedules

As a reminder, Portland’s track and courts are shared spaces and a home base for many of our youth programs. To ensure you don't arrive during a closed session, please check the MyRec Calendar before your visit.
Fitzpatrick Stadium:
One of our most popular facilities, the Stadium has both an artificial turf field and a track. Often, the track remains open for public "drop-in" use, even if the field itself has been permitted. However, it may be closed to the public during Portland Public Schools (PPS) games, track practices, or ticketed events.
To view the full facility calendar, select "Fitzpatrick Stadium" in the MyRec dropdown menu. If a field is marked as "Booked," the track usually remains open for you, unless a ticketed event or school game is underway.
"PPS Track" or "PPS Game/Meet": Track is CLOSED to the public.
“PPS” or "Booked": Field is in use, but the Track is OPEN for joggers.
Empty Calendar: Facility is OPEN for all.
Racquet Sport Courts (Tennis/Pickleball):
Please note: we try to leave at least one court open at each facility, but this is not always possible at some of our smaller facilities, such as Eastern Prom or Lyman Moore, or during our Recreation "Tennis in the Parks" Programming.
“PPS” or “PPS Match” or “Booked”: Court is CLOSED to the public.
