Tips and Tricks for Facility Reservations
Are you planning your upcoming season? To help keep your records organized and your invoices easy to read, the Athletic Facilities Team recommends a few simple strategies when submitting requests through the MyRec portal.
Group Dates Monthly: Instead of submitting a single request for the entire season, group your dates by month (e.g., all May dates in one request and all June dates in another).
Separate by Activity Type: Keep your practice requests separate from your game requests.
Organize by League: If your organization manages multiple leagues, please submit a separate request for each league.
One Facility at a Time: If you need space at multiple locations, submit a distinct request for each facility.
Following these steps helps the Athletic Facilities Use Coordinator review your schedule more efficiently. Remember that once your request is approved, it is not considered a formal reservation until we receive your deposit, Certificate of Insurance, and any other required documentation.
