Located in the heart of the city, Deering Oaks Park offers a wide range of recreational facilities and is home to teams from Portland High and King Middle School.
"The Oaks" Baseball Field is nestled between the playground and "The Castle". In the fall, it doubles as the City's only grass field hockey field. Amenities include enclosed team benches, lights, and a scoreboard. Spectators can enjoy the game from the bleachers positioned behind home plate.
