Watershed Wonders
Watershed Wonders is a great way to get out and explore Portland’s watershed this fall! Each week we will adventure out to a different spot along the Presumpscot River Watershed — starting at Sebago Lake and making our way down to Mackworth Island. Join Angela and Julia to learn about the importance of healthy watersheds, stream ecology, stormwater, and tidepools — all while having fun in nature!
Each Sunday, we will meet at the Parks and Rec office at 212 Canco Road. From there, we will drive to our designated locations for the afternoon! Spots include: Sebago Lake Land Reserve, Millbrook Preserve, Presumpscot River Preserve, and Mackworth Island.
