Nature Bio-Blitz (Grade 2 - 6)
Science is for everyone and everyone can contribute to science! A bio-blitz is an organized day of data collection where volunteers help find and identify as many species as possible - think counting bugs, birds, plants, or other things found in parks around the city! Bio-blitzes help us monitor and understand the environmental changes happening in Portland. If you know a young budding scientist or are a kid who loves to spend time in nature, this is a great opportunity to participate in community science!
