Would your child like to join an archery club where they can improve their skills, make new friends, and have a blast?”
The Portland Archery Club offers a series of fun and engaging classes taught by expert instructors
from the Maine School of Archery. These classes are designed to provide
young archers (ages 10–17) with the opportunity to develop their skills in a
safe, supportive, and confidence-building environment.
Participants will learn range safety, proper shooting techniques, and
foundational archery skills. As they progress, they’ll have the chance to master
advanced techniques and, if they choose, compete with other clubs. Whether
your child is new to archery or aiming to refine their skills, the Portland
Archery Club is the perfect place to build confidence, focus, and friendships.
Length: 8-week program
Participants: up to 16 participants, ages 10 to 17
Cost: $225 for 8-week sessions, $125 for 4-week sessions
Calendar: Wednesdays from 5:00pm to 6:00pm
Session 1: September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Session 2: November 5, 12, 19, 26
Session 3: January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25
Session 4: March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, 15, 22
Session 5: April 29, May 6, 13, 20
