Welcome to the Peaks Island Community Recreation Page!Explore current programs below Quick Links:- Peaks Island After the Bell program- Peaks Island Community Center rental request form------------------------------------------------------------------------Coffee & Crafting Every Third Thursday!Introducing Coffee & Crafting – every third Thursday of the month at the Community Center! Each month will feature a different art form or craft with some general instructions and materials provided.May's activity is a watercolor class with artist Chris Reed. Register below to secure your spot! 12 spots available; $25/person (includes all materials). The class will take place from 12:00-1:30pm. Round Three of Body ConditioningRegistration for the third Body Conditioning series with Caitlin Osborne is now live for June, July, and August. The class will continue on Thursday afternoons from 2:15-3:15pm until early August. Register below!Combine mat work, strength training, and stretching exercises to improve muscle tone, agility, and balance. Participants should be comfortable getting down to the floor (and back up again!). Please come prepared in comfortable clothing and supportive shoes, and bring your own mat if you can. Resistance bands, hand weights, and straps, as well as a limited number of mats, are available for use on site.Open Gym Hours at PIESWe are thrilled to introduce open hours at the Peaks Island Elementary School gym! We will be offering weekly hours for adults and teens, along with pickleball.
