All are invited to drop in between 11:00am and 1:00pm; feel free to bring lunch to eat before, during, or after you craft. Join us for the first round of Coffee & Crafting on Thursday, April 16th. Spring Dancercise Dates are LiveCaitlin is back by popular demand with her Dancercise series for February and March! Scroll down to register. You can choose to register for only Monday sessions, only Wednesday sessions, or both. Dates for later sessions in April and May are also live for registration.A new drop-in option will also be available for Caitlin's classes this time, so island residents or visitors who are only around for one or two weeks can attend classes for $10 cash per class without registering online. Spring Dancercise Dates are LiveCaitlin is back by popular demand with her Dancercise series for February and March! Scroll down to register. Dates for later sessions in April and May are also live for registration.A new drop-in option will also be available for Caitlin's classes this time, so island residents or visitors who are only around for one or two weeks can attend classes for $10 cash per class without registering online. Class description: Move to music as we combine low-impact cardio plus stretching for a fun, interactive workout. Join us at the Community Center on Monday and/or Wednesday mornings. Class is suitable for beginners and non-dancers! Wear comfortable clothes and secure shoes (running/athletic/trainers).About the instructor: Caitlin Osborne retired from Penn State University in 2018, where she taught dance and theatre classes. She teaches tap and ballet for adults and holds workshops on social dance including swing, foxtrot, and others.Round Two of Body ConditioningRegistration for the second Body Conditioning series with Caitlin Osborne is now live. The class will continue on Thursday afternoons from 2:15-3:15pm until May 14th. Register below!Combine mat work, strength training, and stretching exercises to improve muscle tone, agility, and balance. Participants should be comfortable getting down to the floor (and back up again!). Please come prepared in comfortable clothing and supportive shoes, and bring your own mat if you can. Resistance bands, hand weights, and straps, as well as a limited number of mats, are available for use on site.Open Gym Hours at PIESWe are thrilled to introduce open hours at the Peaks Island Elementary School gym! You can choose to register for only Monday sessions, only Wednesday sessions, or both. Dates for later sessions in April and May are also live for registration.A new drop-in option will also be available for Caitlin's classes this time, so island residents or visitors who are only around for one or two weeks can attend classes for $10 cash per class without registering online.
