The Parks, Recreation, & Facilities Department is excited to partner with PAYSA for the fall 2026 rec soccer season. Providing children with a positive youth sports experience is a community effort, and we are eager to work together to make this program an even greater success than before.This program is only for residents of Portland or attend school in Portland.Program Goal:To give your child a positive first experience of youth soccer.Practices:Each week your child's practice squad will experience new fun, game-based learning focused on basic soccer skills.Practices Squads:The aim is to have your child in a squad with no more than 9 other children with 2 volunteer coaches. What to Bring: Players must bring shin guards, cleats or sneakers, comfortable clothing, and a water bottle. Parents and caregivers must remain on-siteCoaches: This league is run with the help of volunteer coaches, with each team having at least two coaches.
