Portland Futsal LeagueReady to take your game to the next level? The Portland Futsal League is a collaboration between Portland Parks & Recreation, Portland Area Youth Soccer Association (PAYSA), local high schools, and local soccer clubs. The league was established in 2018 with the mission of expanding the futsal footprint in Portland, Maine and to assist in the development of young soccer players in our city. We aim to offer a competitive model that focuses on player development, and that is inclusive, accessible, and affordable. Our programming is a blend of foot skills sessions and futsal league play for players grades K-8, with the emphasis placed on skill development through maximization of touches on the ball. Ages: 5-14 years old (K-8th grade)Dates: January 4 - March 8, 2026 (No program during February Break, Feb 15th & 18th) Foot Skills: Wednesday evenings at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm based on age groupsGames: Sundays between 9:00am-3:00pm based on divisionFee: $170 Portland Residents$180 Non-ResidentsT-shirt given to all participants. Price includes 8 weeks of foot skills and 8 weeks of scrimmage and game play. We will have one week of additional programming as an introduction on January 4th with full League play beginning on January 11th.

We will run two games simultaneously in the gym. Teams will play 5v5 (including a goalie) or 4v4 (without a goalie). Games will be fast-paced, lasting 5 minutes, and will include players of all skill levels. Respect for the game, fellow players, and the facility is mandatory. We encourage competitive play but never at the expense of respect for others.
