Youth Track and Field Club - Youth Track and Field Club Lace up your sneakers and sprint into summer fun with Youth Track & Field Club! Who is this program for:Anyone that wants to try Track and Field and is 5-15 years old (not open to students that have completed a year of high school)What to Expect:This program focuses on the fundamental skills of track and field these are running, jumping, or throwing techniques. We aim to do this in a fun and child centered environment.Events include sprints, middle distance, and various field events.Typically there will be practices on Mondays and Tuesdays and meets in Southern Maine on Thursdays. At the end of the season there will be a state meet on Saturday.What to Bring:- Wear clothes you feel comfortable in when moving- Wear Running spikes if you have them or sneakers- Bring a large full water bottleFor weather cancellations for this program, please clickHERE for updates.
