April Vacation Camp - April Vacation Camp Who: April Vacation Camp is only available for children already enrolled in the departments Before or After the Bell Program (Grades K-5)When: Tuesday, April 22 to Friday, April 25, from 7:30-5:30 each dayWhere: East End Community Center, 195 North St, PortlandCost: $200 per camper CCAP and Fee waiver can be used only by calling, emailing or texting Ryan French - rfrench@portlandmaine.gov - 207 653 6163. There are limited spaces available given to families on a first come, first service basis. Ryan will reach back out to you with the information he needs to complete your registration.Camp Schedule:7:30-8:30 a.m. - Camper drop off time - Before Camp free play8:30-3:00 p.m. - There will be a trip each day and structured activity time3:30-5:30 p.m. - Camper pick up time - After Camp free playField trips will be posted here on Friday, April 11What to bring each day:If campers show up for the camp day without the things they need for the day, they will not be able to check in for camp.

Warm outside play clothes (Coat, hat, gloves, scarf, winter boats)
A change of clothes (for if the clothe the camper is wearing get wet or dirty)
A water bottle
Bathing suit and towel
Readiness Skills:To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our participants, everyone attending the program must be able to perform the following readiness skills:
Participate independently or with reasonable accommodations/modifications.
Take and follow directions and instructions from a staff member and be open to changing what they are doing to keep the group safe and welcoming to all people.
Interact and participate in a manner that is physically and emotionally safe for themselves and others.
Maintain personal care without the support of recreation staff.
Stay with their assigned group throughout the program's duration or safely request a break from the group where staff can see/hear them and the rest of the group.
Follow the department's behavior expectations, which include being safe, respectful and responsible.
