Little Hoopsters Basketball (Kindergarten)
Little Hoopsters is a six week basketball program designed as a fun and supportive introduction to the game for Kindergarten aged children. The program focuses on getting kids excited about basketball while teaching fundamental skills, building confidence, and encouraging teamwork in a positive environment. Whether your child is trying basketball for the first time or already has some experience, Little Hoopsters provides a welcoming space for players of all skill levels to learn, grow, and have fun on the court.
Through engaging drills and guided play, children will learn basic basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and game awareness. Sessions are held on Saturdays and include a combination of skill instruction and drills. As the season progresses, players will participate in short scrimmages to practice and show off their newly learned skills in a fun, age appropriate setting.
Volunteer coaches are needed to support this program each Saturday. The program will not run until a sufficient number of volunteer coaches are secured. Each week coaches will assist players with skill instruction, drills, and scrimmages in a fun and supportive environment.
Teams will be formed after registration ends. We will need two coaches per team.
