Preschool Aquatics aims to promote the developmentally appropriate learning of fundamental water safety and skills by young children. Aquatic and safety skills are taught in a logical progression through three levels of courses.
Child must be fully-potty trained. Parents do not get in the water.
Advanced Preschool
Ages: Child must be at least 4 years old to enroll
Minimum Skill Requirements: Child should be comfortable getting their face fully submerged when asked and be able to swim independently for about 15 feet, or from the wall to the flags without support or assistance (a noodle may be used for longer distances). Participants must be capable of listening to direction and following all pool rules. (Example: Holding onto the edge of the pool during the lesson.)
