TIA Winter Exhibition Dec 8th Register View Cart

Hi Everyone!

You and/or your skater as well as the rest of the family are invited to take part in the Troubh Ice Arena's Annual Holiday Exhibition. It is FREE to participate, and we have several participation opportunities. Online Registration is Mandatory for all those participating.

FOR EVERYONE: We are excited to bring back our big opening group number, called “A Victorian Picture Postcard.” Skating to the classic refrains of the “Skater’s Waltz,” we will recreate an outdoor skating scene on Deering Oaks Park at the turn of the century.

We invite everyone involved in the various programs at TIA to participate: skaters at all ages and levels, from tots through adults, and their families! There is just one rehearsal on Tuesday December 3rd, with a short refresher before the show starts on Sunday, and then we perform!

SOLOS AND DUETS: Skaters who skate at the ISI Freestyle 2 level/USFS Freeskate 2 level or higher are invited to perform a solo or duet. Holiday-themed programs are welcome but not required. (There is no requirement to perform in the group number.) (People doing solos or duets will be asked to submit music to Maryann Carroll at that time.)

Details:

Group Rehearsal: Tuesday, December 3, 4:30-6:50
Exhibition: Sunday, December 8, 4:00-6:00

Costumes for Group Number: Please wear clothes that you might wear skating on an outdoor pond in days of yore. (No need to be fancy: sweaters, hats, and scarves can do the trick.)
